Turkey recommended to foreign property buyers
Overseas property buyers have been advised to consider purchasing a residence in Turkey.
According to Property Wire, the European country offers a number of lifestyle attractions such as spectacular scenery, sandy beaches and affordable living costs.
As a result, it is now attracting a record number of foreign property buyers from countries such as the UK.
In addition, it is also proving to be very popular with holidaymakers, as visitor numbers are nearly 20% on last year.
This means it could be a potentially lucrative investment market, as growing tourism is leading to increased demand for rental property in hotspots such as Bodrum.
Property Wire commented: "Despite the economic gloom back home, 2008 looks like being a bumper year for the Turkish tourist industry."
This comes after research by Co-operative Travel found that the European country has displaced hotspots such as Spain in terms of its popularity with tourists.
