UAE attracts British investors
Overseas property buyers from the UK are increasingly snapping up houses in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to experts.
ShelterOffshore.com stated that British nationals are currently in the midst of a "love affair" with areas such as Dubai.
The website revealed that Britons are now the most prolific foreign property owners in the region, owning more homes than any other nationality.
In addition, it believes that its popularity is set to increase further during the next few years.
ShelterOffshore.com observed: "It seems that the British thirst for Dubai homes is not abating either."
The online portal added that expats could earn higher salaries in this location, which could lead to a "strengthening surge" of British nationals seeking employment in the UAE.
According to recent research from NatWest, an expat in the UAE can earn a "whopping" £79,000 a year on average.
